Samsidh School – HSR
In today’s fast-paced world, parenting often comes with stress, fatigue, and emotional burnout. At Samsidh Group of Schools, we believe that a child’s holistic development begins at home—with parents who are physically, mentally, and emotionally well. That’s why we advocate for simple yet powerful practices like yoga for parents, designed to promote wellness, mindfulness, and a peaceful home environment.
Why CBSE Schools Encourage Yoga for Parents & Kids
At Samsidh CBSE Schools, we believe education goes beyond academics. Yoga plays a vital role in supporting both students and parents in achieving balance, focus, and emotional strength. When parents practice yoga, they model mindfulness and resilience for their children, creating a positive home environment that complements school learning.
By integrating yoga into daily routines, parents not only improve their own well-being but also encourage children to adopt healthy habits. This parent-child wellness connection is central to holistic education in 2025.

Backed by Science & Philosophy
Modern research confirms what ancient wisdom taught us: Yoga improves cognitive functioning, reduces stress hormones, and enhances emotional intelligence. These are not just physical outcomes—they are the foundations of strong parenting.
The Samsidh Changemaker’s club is a program to hone the leadership skills in our children. Students have been actively involved in various activities conducted by various clubs. To celebrate international yoga day, the social structure and wellness club associated together to share the importance of yoga in achieving wellness, fitness, and stress-free life.
Wellness of a society is largely dependent on how each family takes care of their wellness . Keeping this as a motto, the students of our changemaker club were given a task to do yoga every day and involve their family members also to do so. Not only students but their parents also took part with great enthusiasm.
Adding to this, a yoga camp was conducted by our school during summer holidays and many parents actively took part in it. During this activity, we came to know that some of the parents have been practicing yoga for the last many years. So, our students interviewed them to have a deeper insight into yoga.

Our mission at Samsidh isn’t limited to classrooms. We aim to nurture mindful parents who can raise compassionate, resilient, and confident children. Through initiatives like this, we strive to build families who live consciously and support one another’s growth.
